I’ve got a bottle of this at home, sadly nearly finished. My Dad was given it as a present in the early 90’s and it sat 3/4 full for years until I “acquired” it, although not being a whisky drinker at the time. However, after losing my sense of taste and smell with the dreaded covid, and then regaining it, I thought I’d give the drink a try, just for a laugh. Oh my God!! Unbelievable. Like drinking nectar. I have covid to thank for something, as now I love whisky. Simply couldn’t stand it before. Obviously I wouldn’t pay £700 for it, but it is a lovely dram. I wish they made a £70 bottle of this stuff now as that was what it was worth back in ‘92...
