This exceptional single malt is the second in the Tales of The Macallan series. It was distilled way back in 1949 and then spent over seven decades maturing before a single cask was selected by whisky maker Euan Kennedy. It was bottled in 2022 and released in 2024 to celebrate 200 years of The Macallan. Only 344 bottles are available. Each one is housed in a Lalique decanter held within a handbound book with illustrations by renowned British artist Andrew Davidson.

Rich forest fruits, sweet aromatic woodsmoke, antique oak, nutmeg, cinnamon, and vanilla pods with a subtle herbal note and treacle.
Black cherries, plum jam, dark chocolate orange, almond and custard pastry, ginger sponge with hints of cloves, gentle woodsmoke and tea leaves.
Exceedingly long and complex, with a sweet lingering smokiness.
