Sherry

Single cask single malt from the highly-regarded Macallan Distillery, independently bottled by our very own hands! This whisky was distilled back in September 1989 and left to mature in a sherry barrel for 28 years, before we bottled it up in July 2018 for our Single Cask Series. No chill-filtration, no additional colours, just like the rest of our Single Cask Series.
Orange oil, dark honey and barley sugar, then hints of orange marmalade, lanolin and dried apricot. Gingery heat, citrus and baked apples emerge underneath and are supported by wood driven spice and a touch of cheese.
Crisp orchard fruits, lemon drizzle cake and blackberry jam are followed by sweet acacia honey, toffee and a touch of light oak. Orange boiled sweets, a touch of toasted coconut and hints of ginger and cinnamon add depth.
Good length with notes of Calvados, dried fruit and a kick of black pepper.
