An exceptional 15 year old from The Macallan. This was matured in a mix of sherry and bourbon, one of the best from the Macallan Fine Oak Range..
This bottle was part of a private collection - if you'd like more detailed photos just get in touch!

You spelled thevword "wood" wrong. Tacky and shoddy looking.
In recent years there has been a definite lowering of standards at that Mecca of Speyside distilleries - Macallan. You can usually tell when a previously great disillery goes off the boil by the number of 'special editions' and different wood finishes it begins to employ! The staple 10 yo and 12 yo became very bland. This expression however proves Macallan can still compete & compare with the best. Classically smooth, rounded and balanced. Welcome back!
