Macallan 15 is very good. One of the best I've had from them. Seriously, don't hate just because you don't like the price. I do not trust the ratings here that people post. Neither should you.

This is a big disappointment. And the high price just adds to the feeling of unfulfillment. Way too much alcohol and far too little flavor.
Calling this "subtle" is definitely understating it. Lacks complexity on the arrival and a finish is nowhere to be found in this. With or without a bit of water, there is really nothing here worth mentioning. Until the bottle is finished, this is the one I bring out whenever I have guests that shoot their whisky rather than taste it.
