Lakes whiskymaker Dhavall Gandhi has created a marvellous expression here, revolving around juicy fruit notes and waves of honey, with a smidge of oak and smoke shining through. No chill-filtration or additional colourings here.
Peanut brittle, peaches, nectarines, hay leading into a hint of grassy peat.
Apple, greengage, almond and cherry sweetness, toasted cinnamon, cedar.
Dried fruit and walnut, with honey lingering.

I usually stick fairly rigidly to Scotch Whisky, but while on a short break to the Lake District recently, I was very strongly recommended to "The One" and I found it really good and good value too. Similar in style to a Lowland whisky i.e. no peat, smoke or seaweed but very clean and smooth.
I got this for Christmas & its really good.
