This was distilled at the Glen Moray distillery in 1996, and it was aged in a single hogshead before bottling by Wemyss Malts in 2011. This is a release of 299 bottles.
Sweet honeycomb, gingernut biscuits, beeswax and dessert wine, a little allspice too and some stem ginger in syrup.
Honeyed malt, sugared peels, honeycomb, beeswax and granary toast with hot butter.
Good length with ginger and spice.

Quiet interesting, really sweet, with lots of honey, also with some significant bitterness - grapefruits with some hints of ginger and pepper.
polished off a bottle of this yesterday with my mate and it was a stand out whisky for both of us. great taste but not overpowering . will be buying again.
