A Swedish single malt whisky from the Box range - their Explorer expression was mostly matured in bourbon casks, but was treated to a finishing period in Swedish oak casks!
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Earthy, woody peat rises first, shortly followed by fresh apple and blackberry.
Palate
Still rich and smoky. The fruit continues to develop, now slightly tropical and zesty. A hint of milk chocolate, too.
Finish
Sugary chocolate and vanilla-y barley.
