Excellent oloroso sherry cask-matured single malt from Glenlivet's Nàdurra range - bottled without chill-filtration or additional colours. Wonderful stuff by Glenlivet, as per usual.
Treacle, blackberry, a hint of charred oak, old Port.
Mince pie filling, stem ginger, chocolate orange.
Drying cinnamon and nutmeg spiciness on the finish.
Tried this at our local Whisky lounge: I love Christmas pudding and mince pies and this packs the spiced, dried fruit flavour in one solid punch. A real winter warmer at 60% but remains easy drinking and enjoyable. Just about to order a bottle for myself!
