A rich, creamy aroma of sweet vanilla and overripe grapes. Mixed peels, toasted oak, butterscotch and marmalade.
Malty, rich, bourbon-led palate with toasted oak and caramel. Spiced and intense.
A spiced, long finish with lingering vanilla.
Beautifully intense, with a wonderful bourbon influence.

A little pricier that what I'm used to
I bought a bottle of this for a friend as a present having been recomended by the staff in the whiskey store. My friend advised me it was a lovely whiskey so having seen it on offer (£42 for a litre in the Airport) I gave it a go. First taste I thought it was a little sharp, but once it softens in your mouth it shows some true and very pleasant flavours. Very sweet, vanilla and toffee. A lovely long lasting finish. This is a whiskey you will tear into as it is very easy drinking. On my third bottle and will have again.
