It really says a lot about how far English whisky has come in such a short space of time that a smoky virgin cask whisky isn't an unexpected sight. In fact, The English Distillery is very good at making peaty drams, as evidenced by this beauty.
Peaches in cream, fresh citrus, smoky malt, and a little ginger.
Through grassy peat comes nutmeg, milk chocolate, and apples.
Floral, as well as a little smoky and sweet.
