The Dubliner is a blended Irish whiskey which has been aged in bourbon casks and crafted by Master Blender John Drennan. A new addition to the Dubliner range, which you might know from their Dubliner Irish Whiskey Liqueur (combining whiskey, caramel and honeycomb).
Well honey'd on the nose, with subtle nods to orchard fruits.
Enjoyable notes of golden malt shine through more honey and a touch of white pepper.
Quite sweet on the finish.
Really surprised by how nice this was for £25. So much oaky barrel, a bit like the Glendalough's I've tried but with a sweeter note, it's delish! Do yourself a favour and give it a try!
Price is really ok but that whisky is to damm sweet. Fells like like damm corn syrup or a Polish sweet hondy liker.
People that saying Jameson is better this mean they never try real Jameson. This whiskey is way better. Taste is awesome, gentle and soft.
If you've tried Jamesons Crested do yourself a favour and don't bother buying this. Tastes like it's corked and isn't smooth on the pallet. Even normal Jamesons is better than this. Only good point is it's better than 'The Pogues' whiskey which is really yuck.
Very good indeed and for £20 a bottle in the sale at Sainsbury’s you can’t go wrong !
