The Dubliner is a blended Irish whiskey which has been aged in bourbon casks and crafted by Master Blender John Drennan. A new addition to the Dubliner range, which you might know from their Dubliner Irish Whiskey Liqueur (combining whiskey, caramel and honeycomb).
Well honey'd on the nose, with subtle nods to orchard fruits.
Enjoyable notes of golden malt shine through more honey and a touch of white pepper.
Quite sweet on the finish.

Nose: Artificial Honey Syrup, Apple Orchard. Palate: Corn Liquor, Stewed Peppers. Finish: Stiff, Lingering.
Lite and a little to sweet for my liking.
I like it. I drink Jameson, and Jack Daniels occasionally. I will admit, I don't know a lot about Whiskey, but I can share what I like and what I don't like. This is easy to sip. It's smooth, and sort of sweet at the finish (which I enjoyed). The taste doesn't linger long on the tongue. I just had a wee drop of it straight.
A must try!!
Very pleasant and easy to drink.
