Those folks from Amazon Prime TV show The Three Drinkers have been busy. Featuring a flavour profile inspired by the locations visited on the show, The Three Drinkers Scotch Whisky Cask Selection No. 1 is a 17 year old blended malt Scotch whisky boasting brilliant notes of fudge, dried fruit and festive spices. No chill-filtration or additional colouring here, and each bottle has been signed by the eponymous trio themselves!
Jamaican ginger cake, stewed apples, melted butter and a touch of floral barley.
Juicy apricot sweetness as it opens, followed by cinnamon, clove and sultana. Very subtle smoke, with a few hints of salted caramel along the way.

A very nice blend this.. a nice bit of sherry in this but has plenty going on as well. I think the MoM team have got this pretty much spot on. Feels thin on pouring but is very juicy, and just right amount of sweetness. a whisp of smoke mostly on secondary palate. A nice barley nose and a great finish of wood and sherry. top notch for £40. struth
amazing for this price!!!
Nicely sherried whisky. Very very easy drinking. Am a fan of blended malts anyway but for less than £40 for a 17 year old sherry heavy malt...... I say no more !
What a fantastic drink. So easy going, juicy and drinkable. It has all the notes that have been mentioned plus I get a waxy, leathery note. Can see myself enjoying this with friends and family at Christmas. Non chill filtered, no colouring added, 45%, and only 300 bottles of it. They're really going for integrity here.
I've watched their show so was really excited to get my hands on one of these so I could enjoy a dram when Part 2 comes out. I already opened the bottle and am really happy. For the price you don't (often) get this much age and it's a really balanced blend full of flavour. Well done!
