The Double Peat is a sublime smoky blended malt made with peaty whisky from Islay as well as peated whisky from Speyside, hence the name. Islay is well-known for its peaty treats, while Speyside is traditionally more recognised for honeyed drams, so it's rather intriguing that the producers of this expression managed to get their hands on a smoky Speysider.
