Scotland
The Claymore
Blended
The term "claymore" is from the Scottish Gaelic for "great sword", and it's an ancient style of Scottish sword used by the Highlanders. This wonderful blended whisky was created in its honour.
£5.95 - £52.49
Thus is sold at my local shop, was given a bottle as a gift a couple of years ago and Ive purchased it ever since. Really nice smooth flavour and enjoyable.
Got this for £14 from a convenience shop on a Sunday after noon. It’s a decent blended scotch whisky. Nothing special, but nothing bad either. As a seasoned whisky drinker I was pleased with my purchase. Enjoyable neat, unlike some other blends.
Opened a bottle that must have been standing on the shelf at my parents' home for at least 15 years. Too much alcohol taste. Enough said I guess. Good for mixer.
i agree with last post it goes down too easily, still it is something you can, enjoy and is a pleasure to drink, whilst intoxicates you, smoothly and satisfyingly till the end. it is a desirable whisky that delivers a quality taste and stands out amongst the crowd, with pleasure always gauranteed
This is a smooth easy drinking whisky, it was on offer at my local shop, and is now a favourite. The only trouble is it goes down too easy!
