Gaze upon the label and you'll see a scene that we don't think is quite an everyday occurrence in the eponymous whisky region. It features a picturesque town seemingly inhabited by Highland cows and spoons. What could this all mean...?
Batch 1 is a release of 220 bottles.
‘That Boutique-y Whisky Company’ bottles single malts, single grains and bourbons from a variety of renowned distilleries as well as producing award-winning blended malts and blends. These whiskies are adorned with cultish graphic novel-style labels.
Sponge cake, marmalade, hay, stone fruits and good sourdough bread with butter.
Orange and lemon arrive first, shortly followed by oily barley, sea salt and black pepper crisps, sultana, banana and peach.
Lingering apricot and a hint of toasted coconut.
