What have we here? The first batch of That Boutique-y Whisky Company's second blended malt, eh? And they've really produced something of a beast here from a selection of top single malts - a stunning blended malt Scotch whisky seemingly put together in their very own oak worktop. Looks like someone's been at the old wire brush and Danish Oil there!
370 numbered bottles were produced in Batch 1.
‘That Boutique-y Whisky Company’ bottles single malts, single grains, blended malts, blends and bourbons from a variety of renowned distilleries. These whiskies are adorned with cultish graphic-novel-style labels.
Juicy dates and figs, chocolate buttons and orange juice. A little white chocolate too, alongside roasted chestnuts and crumble being taken out of the oven.
Increasingly thick with coffee and cocoa beans, a hint of ginger and dark Corinth raisins. Black cherries develop.
Malty chocolate fruit cake.
An absolute beast of a blended malt.
