The flagship expression from Dublin's Teeling, the Small Batch Irish whiskey is made with a blend of malt and grain whiskeys, initially aged in ex-Bourbon barrels. Following that, the Teeling folks moved the whiskey over to casks that had previously held Central American rum! In these casks, the whiskey had an extra rest for up to 12 months, before being bottled at 46% ABV without any chill-filtration. Wonderfully full-flavoured, with plenty of fresh fruit, creamy vanilla and lively spice notes to enjoy!
Cut grass and orange blossom. Allspice, hints of vanilla, apple pie and blackberries.
Spiced, rich palate with rose petal jelly and lemon curd. Creamy vanilla, hints of dried herbs and cinnamon.
Floral, herbal finish. Caramel on the tail.
A deliciously creamy, spicy and rich Irish blend.

I found this Whiskey by accident at a hotel in Dublin last year whilst there for a wedding - did not know any of the whiskeys available so tried Teeling. What a revelation - it took me more than one glass to appreciate it fully - and then I had to try the single malt Teeling as well. Fortunately, this was after the wedding...... I'm not normally an Irish Whiskey fan but this is different. Highly recommended.
Quiet nose Full cream with spice on tongue. Finished sweet and spice caramel
I'm not a big connoisseur of Irish whiskeys althrough I have tested quite few. From my point of view it is OK. Nothing really special comparing to Scotch or Bourbon in a same price range it is not worthy money you pay. It is sweet, bland and no body. Don't get me wrong it is no bad but nothing special either.
Overrated! Not as good as they say it is! Taste like cheap scotts wattered down whisky! But It is 46%! I Will never buy It again. Johnnie Red or Jameson, or Tullamore is a bettet buy! It has almoste no Taste att all. Very disapointed, feel like a fool trusting theese internet reweies. I Will go to my safe-cards next time, a Johnnie, or JD, or a single malt like laghavolin 16 or laphroig 10
Delighted to see this in your Black Friday Special!
