The flagship expression from Dublin's Teeling, the Small Batch Irish whiskey is made with a blend of malt and grain whiskeys, initially aged in ex-Bourbon barrels. Following that, the Teeling folks moved the whiskey over to casks that had previously held Central American rum! In these casks, the whiskey had an extra rest for up to 12 months, before being bottled at 46% ABV without any chill-filtration. Wonderfully full-flavoured, with plenty of fresh fruit, creamy vanilla and lively spice notes to enjoy!
Cut grass and orange blossom. Allspice, hints of vanilla, apple pie and blackberries.
Spiced, rich palate with rose petal jelly and lemon curd. Creamy vanilla, hints of dried herbs and cinnamon.
Floral, herbal finish. Caramel on the tail.

Add just a splash of spring water to ease out the wonderful flavours that this dram has to offer. First time that I have tasted this whiskey, but it certainly won’t be the last.
I'm not an expert on whiskey but I've drunk more than most. It's on the higher price point than most though I enjoy Talisker, Jura etc. I have to say if this was the only whiskey I was only allowed to drink - I wouldn't complain. Sharp, slightly sweet but powerful, even my wife likes a wee sneaky shot. Xxxxxxx brilliant.
This is one of my absolute favourite whiskeys ... it is light, smooth (considering it’s strength) with a lovely caramel taste ... fantastic and highly recommended

Not an Irish Whiskey fan. At all. Ever. But this blew me away! So smooth and light. Ignore the negative comments. I am sold!
