Irish single grain whiskey from Teeling! There are only an elite few Irish single grain whiskies out there at the moment, but Teeling went ahead and made theirs unique by maturing it in Californian Cabernet Sauvignon casks. Deliciously sweet with a good deal of spice and fruit hide within the Teeling Single Grain.
Honeyed apple flesh and red grape, sweet and slightly floral with fragrant vanilla and spice, evaporated milk and brown sugar.
There's treacle on the palate, but it's light and buttery with dried cranberry developing.
Into golden syrup tart and sweet egg custard now with spicy cereal.
This is a thoroughly enjoyable grain whiskey, sweet and fairly light but full of flavour.

One of the finest Whiskeys I have ever had.
Gave a sample of this to a Scotch whisky lover. He reckoned it's the whisky of the year so far. I sincerely doubt you can buy a better whisky for the price. It's really drinkable & quite different from anything else.
Recently tried two of your "dram" samples of this whiskey...it was excellent. Smooth with a bit of sweetness at the start and a delightfully smooth finish. This review is attached to my order for a bottle of this wonerful whiskey!!
A real surprize package for a single grain . Comlexity and depth , the buttery sweetness at the start and the choclate / mint smooth finish . Tried it at a recent whisky tasting very impressed by it , brought a bottle for the collection .
Not many Irish grain whiskeys on the market definitely worth a try.love this.teeling are makeing some very interesting whiskeys I'd recommend check out there range.
