The first release in Teeling's Brabazon Bottling range, which will explore the impact that fortified wine casks have on the flavour profile of Irish whiskey. This initial bottling features whiskey drawn from six Sherry casks, resulting in big ol' bundles Sherried deliciousness.
World class! Visited their distillery in Dublin on many occasions. Their whiskeys are a step ahead of everyone else in Ireland. Brabazon Series 1 is an example of how far ahead they are! 5 star rating and one of the most interesting whiskeys I have ever tasted
I bought samples of this to try a taste test with my best friend, who's from Cork. Just went through the usual evaluating processing! Wow! This is superb!!! I love Teeling Small Batch, but this is another level plus some....!!!
Delicious whiskey, distinctive sherry flavours, opened up by a drop of water. Drinking it at Christmas 2018 and, as the previous reviewer noted, just perfect for this holiday. A reasonable price also for a whiskey of this quality.
A blend of 9-16 year old vintages sherry casked Irish Whiskey, this single malt is full of complexity and gives off a very Glenfarclas like Christmas Cake note on the palate but with a much smoother transition to the finish and not as much of a rough spicy transition like in the 105 especially for an Irish malt that's almost 100 proof! Definitely worth a try and for the price I'd say it's a lot better then the Revival 14 Year Old vintage.
Simply blown away, unexpected character at this price, a must have. The varied Sherry casks bring this into a premium range. One of the best Irish bottlings I’ve purchased in a while and non chill x
