They've only gone and done it. Teeling has released one of the oldest Irish single malt whiskeys to date - behold, the Teeling 37 Year Old from the Vintage Reserve Collection. It was matured in ex-bourbon casks, and after its incredibly lengthy slumber, it was bottled up at 41.3% ABV, with a small outturn of just 175 bottles. With previous well-aged whiskey in the Vintage Reserve Collection picking up some big awards (including the Teeling 24 Year Old being named World's Best Single Malt at the World Whiskies Awards 2019), we're expecting exceptional things from this one.
White peaches, cut grass, white chocolate and a hint of toasted almonds.
Silky smooth with ripe peaches, honey, smoked sea saltiness and subtle spices on the tongue.
Long and mellow with a continuation of the sweet spice.
