Wine Cask
Distilled at Teaninich in 2012, this single malt finished off its nine-year maturation in a Pineau Des Charentes fortified wine cask. A total of 162 bottles were released in 2023, joining the Benchmark series from indie bottler Murray McDavid.
Fresh apple pastries and honeyed prunes, with toasted, flaked almonds and creamy coffee.
More prune, joined by figs and dates alongside bready malt and spiced apple cake.
Orchard fruit and sweet sultanas stick around while peppery oak and a dusting of nutmeg bring a touch of spice.
