This Highland single malt from Teaninich joins the Rare Cask Series from indie bottler GreatDrams. The whisky spent its entire six-year maturation in a first-fill Bordeaux red wine cask before it was bottled without added colour or chill filtration in 2024.
My first experience of this distillery and as it was only 6 years old, I wasn’t expecting too much. Well I will definitely be revisiting. I’m not great at adding tasting notes but what I will say is that it’s certainly worth a try.
