    Single Malt

    Teaninich 20 Year Old 1999 (cask 302864) - Chieftain's (Ian Macleod)

A rather special 20 Year Old Teaninich! This particular liquid was distilled in March 1999, and left to mature in single barrel. After two decades had passed, the whisky was bottled by Ian Macleod in May 2019 with a limited outturn of just 232 bottles for the Chieftain's series. A handsome single malt indeed.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

    Nose

Peaches on the vine gives it a green note as it opens, followed by hints of cookie dough and waxy orange.

    Palate

Still enjoyably vegetal, though now with more oak in tow. Spicy hints of ginger and cinnamon develop.

    Finish

    Slightly floral as it finishes.
