13 year old single malt from the Teaninich Distillery, which was distilled in 2008 and then eventually bottled up by Fable Whisky. It was aged in a single refill hogshead, which produced 299 bottles, featuring an illustration by artist Hugo Cuellar, showing a scene from the folklore tale 'The Ghost Piper of Clanyard Bay' (like the rest of the bottlings in the series).
Dry wood, fresh green apples with a hint of caramel, a touch of hoppy bitterness.
Vanilla sticks around on the palate, with the apples notes replaced by oranges and lemons.
Crunchy brown sugar and spicy peppercorn.
Lovely taste with a lovely burn
