This indie Teaninich was distilled in 2007, and then left in a single first-fill Oloroso cask for over a decade. When it reached 12 years of age, the wonderful Adelphi cracked open the cask and bottled it up in 2019, with an outturn of 555 bottles at 52.9% ABV. No colouring to be seen here, that awesome colour has come straight from the sherry cask.
Waxy citrus and marmalade, with berry jam on toast.
Barley sugar and floral honey, with some pear in there alongside building spicy notes.
Plum jam and fresh oak.
