A very famous blended whisky, a rather good blend too. Jim Murray awarded Teacher's Highland Cream 90 points in his Whisky Bible.
Fruity, malty aromas. Just a hint of peat smoke with a good dollop of gooey toffee.
Soft smoke, barley malt and manuka honey. Hints of Malt-driven palate with soft spices.
Malt and smoke on the finish. Classic.

This blend is a little rough around the edges, but take your time with it and you might love it. This was the first blended Scotch whisky I ever bought, and I've kept coming back to it time and time again, even with my single malt collection as impressive as it is now. Teacher's was love at first sip for me. This is a very malt-forward blend. If you've ever had Ardmore as a single malt, you'll find it's presence unmistakeably at the forefront of Teacher's. There is a fair bit of smoke here, but it's NOT dry, salty, meaty smoke like you'd find in an Islay malt. This smoke is rich, earthy, vegetal, and has more than a hint of tobacco notes which reminds me of a nice, dark maduro cigar. The smoke intertwines beautifully with sweet, syrupy butterscotch, honey, and raisin notes, with a satisfyingly oily texture and rich, malty flavor. This is a full-flavored blend. While it is young, a bit rough around the edges, and with a few mild off-notes in the background (most likely coming from the grain whisky), it is robust and hearty. I find it to be a delicious and masculine blend. I recommend it to all of my friends who like whisky. Cheers from the U.S. (P.S. - Scotland makes better whisky than we do here in the States.)
This is the first time i have tried this Scotch and i have to say it is the worst i have ever had, the after taste is revolting.i may just had got a bad bottle but ive never heard that before in a scotch.my advice is stay the hell away.
I live in Canada and this is readily available for $25, which cannot be beaten for the quality of whisky that you are getting. Nose: salty, iodine, caramel, a tad smell of alcohol Palate: creamy and smooth, can barely taste the grain whisky, VERY well blended finish: long and lingering, with effects of smoke This is quite delicious, excellent value for money. It tastes much more maltier than Johnnie Walker Black, and also much smokier as well. Simply for the price that you are paying for this there is no other blend that is better.
Wonderful beverage, I enjoy it everynight when im relaxed it works great with everything I eat and with the smooth gentleness it delivers. thanks.
I paid £14 at co-op, which is unbeatable value for money. I feel that the negative voters below are comparing this blend unfairly against Whisky costing much, much more. Immediately it has a smokey, peated nose - which is surprising for a blend, probabily down to the 45% malt in the blend (mostly Ardmore to be precise). From then on it's nothing special, but certainly I could find nothing wrong - this is good basic whisky. I'll probabily use it as a 'base' and do some home blending by adding a judicious amount of malt with more age. Maybe the 'Dram' sippers should try again
