A very famous blended whisky, a rather good blend too. Jim Murray awarded Teacher's Highland Cream 90 points in his Whisky Bible.
Fruity, malty aromas. Just a hint of peat smoke with a good dollop of gooey toffee.
Soft smoke, barley malt and manuka honey. Hints of Malt-driven palate with soft spices.
Malt and smoke on the finish. Classic.
Best budget Scotch. Better than JW Black.
This whiskey is your friend, it's for your friends and for you. It's smooth and delicious, despite reviews before purchase it's not too oily or heavy on it's own, and with a bit of water or with soda water it's amazing. The smoky end can hit a bit too hard so keeping a bit of ice cold cola on the side to cleanse the palate is my personal favorite way to have some. The price is the finisher, affordable and within reasonable reach of anyone looking to get into whiskey.
I finally had this one earlier this month and I gotta say it's a smooth blend, no harsh notes or burn like from other younger whiskies. It is definetly creamy like it says on the label, what I mean is that I found cream note in it, very pleasant. But it's not that malty like other blends. But I will probably not buy it again, not into blends anymore at all (unless it's JW Black). Teacher's has 45% malt in it, if I remember correctly from one of whisky.com reviews, which is low scale in my opinion but they did a good job though, though it's not anything to die for.
Worth every single penny with good flavor
I've always overlooked this bottom-shelf blend, but when my local reopened after the lockdown with pretty much nothing I either know I like or haven't tried before on special, I thought why not give this a go. A quick check of this site to make sure it wasn't JR Red label calibre toilet cleaner and I walked out with a bottle. I can now say this is my favourite screw-cap scotch. Game is on to beat it.
