A very famous blended whisky, a rather good blend too. Jim Murray awarded Teacher's Highland Cream 90 points in his Whisky Bible.
Fruity, malty aromas. Just a hint of peat smoke with a good dollop of gooey toffee.
Soft smoke, barley malt and manuka honey. Hints of Malt-driven palate with soft spices.
Malt and smoke on the finish. Classic.

Hadn’t tried it for a couple of years as hard to find in supermarkets then was given a bottle for my birthday. Was delighted until I tasted something which was nothing like I was expecting, gone the flavour I had enjoyed and loved over the last 40 years What it’s been replaced with is a very poor example of what was the best blended whiskey ever.
Has not changed in taste or quality since late 1950’s when I first sampled Teachers.
Had a doubt due to the price but I've found a gem! Budget friendly version of Islay whisky. Finish is bit weak but can't complain for this price. Don't expect a diamond when you are paying for a fraction of its price but this gem is definitely worth more than what you paid for. This will be in my drinks cabinet for occasional choice.
Took a chance and tried something from the low end. It was my first encounter with peat, I wasn't sure if I liked it at first, but then it grew on me. Adding water enhanced this. Nice long finish. I will buy this again. Not in the same league as the higher end Johnnie Walker Black but a decent enough budget blend.
Lots of peat, nice finish. Great for the price.
