A very famous blended whisky, a rather good blend too. Jim Murray awarded Teacher's Highland Cream 90 points in his Whisky Bible.
Fruity, malty aromas. Just a hint of peat smoke with a good dollop of gooey toffee.
Soft smoke, barley malt and manuka honey. Hints of Malt-driven palate with soft spices.
Malt and smoke on the finish. Classic.
I like my Scotch on the rocks with a dash of dry ginger ale. I also like a peaty, malty taste that cuts through the mixer. For me, nothing comes close to Teacher's Highland Cream. It's the most amazing bang for your buck! Thank you, Suntory, for keeping the faith.
I've been drinking Teacher's for at least 20 years. A few years, maybe 7, I noticed a discernable decline in quality. I stopped buying Teacher's and switched to Dewar's. A few months ago I decided to try Teacher's again. In my opinion the producers have seen the error of their ways and upped the quality of Teacher's to it's former glory. This is once again the best of the budget scotch whiskey brands. I love the light smokey taste.
Smooth for a 7 year old scotch. Go well with a dash of water and ice
Just bought a bottle of my favourite and it is terrible. Chemical taste, what has happened. Will not be buying anymore.
