A very famous blended whisky, a rather good blend too. Jim Murray awarded Teacher's Highland Cream 90 points in his Whisky Bible.
Fruity, malty aromas. Just a hint of peat smoke with a good dollop of gooey toffee.
Soft smoke, barley malt and manuka honey. Hints of Malt-driven palate with soft spices.
Malt and smoke on the finish. Classic.

This was an important whiskey for a long time. It was an affordable way for the discriminating scotch lover to have a daily dram, and one with a little complexity, a little peat, and no off flavors. Well, Teacher's Highland Cream has updated their image. They've updated their bottle, and they've updated the whiskey inside it to appeal to more modern tastes. The former aromas of earth and oak have been replaced with caramelized sugar, orange peel, and vanilla--the characteristic notes of Famous Grouse. The peat remains, albeit in a much diminished form, just lingering in the back like a distant memory. I drink a lot of scotch, and I would be hard-pressed to discriminate the new Teacher's from Black Grouse. It's a sweet, approachable blend now. Nothing wrong with that, and it's certainly cheaper than Black Grouse. Fans of the old Teacher's, however, would do best to look elsewhere. Specifically: White Horse.
As a scotch/Peat flavor fan....this is very good and has become my go-to brand.
Closest thing to an Islay single malt I've found. Amazing at this price point. This is my new everyday go-to.
DO NOT PAY £17.63 for this whisky. For that price you can by a decent Islay single malt from ALDI and have a few pence change. I got this for £10.77 from ALDI and for that price it is just OK. You can taste abit of peat, but there's definitely something not quite right about it. Not the teachers it used to be 3-4 few years ago
Teachers 2018 Comparable with jw black.... Peated.. very good price. Teaspoon water makes it even better a neatglass or Ander 1.0 glass will work too.
