A very famous blended whisky, a rather good blend too. Jim Murray awarded Teacher's Highland Cream 90 points in his Whisky Bible.
Fruity, malty aromas. Just a hint of peat smoke with a good dollop of gooey toffee.
Soft smoke, barley malt and manuka honey. Hints of Malt-driven palate with soft spices.
Malt and smoke on the finish. Classic.

A great Whisky especially from my corner shop where it's branded with £13.49 rrp. I have to comment on the last review about Ardmore Malt. Peated malt whisky is NOT exclusive to Islay. If you think that then you have fallen into the Islay marketing trap. Well Done! Go get a bottle of Ardmore Legacy for about £20 from Tesco. It's a lovely peated single Malt from Aberdeenshire. I'n Scots, but not from Islay either. Cailean MacCoinneach
In deference to the reviews, I don't taste much Islay in this, nor does it taste like the Highland Cream that I grew up with in Glasgow, back in the 60's. Tastes awrite though - no complaints for the price point. The new bottle says it's got a "high percentage of peated malt from Ardmore distillery." Ardmore's near Aberdeenshire, which is on the east-side. Islay's off the west, floating in the Atlantic. If you are looking for good, inexpensive, Islay blend, try Islay Mist - 8 year. Tastes like a youngish Laphroaig or Bowmore, cut with a little rectified spirit (which is probably what the blend is). Nay, this din'nit taste like the Teachers me mar (who's Gordie) used te'put in me hot milk. Goes well with a decent pint, though (the whiskey that is, not the hot milk).
I think it's one of the best whiskeys going smooth creamy I used to like it as it is can't find it for love nor money wish supermarket's would sell it again
Good value. Straightforward flavors of honey, smoke, and peppery spice. The finish is quite spicy and not particularly smooth.
Decent dram, nice texture, OK.
