A very famous blended whisky, a rather good blend too. Jim Murray awarded Teacher's Highland Cream 90 points in his Whisky Bible.
Fruity, malty aromas. Just a hint of peat smoke with a good dollop of gooey toffee.
Soft smoke, barley malt and manuka honey. Hints of Malt-driven palate with soft spices.
Malt and smoke on the finish. Classic.

Old label by the way...
I once turned to Teacher's as my regular scotch. It became a bit sharp on the tongue. I switched to The Black Grouse as I like a bit of Peat for Pete's sake. On a whim just picked up a bottle of Teacher's again hoping to learn I should turn back. Smooth, easy on the start and finish, but missing a bit of Peat for me. Nice to see that it isn't heavily colored, but not ready yet to take my go to blend. I'll finish it of course, but look forward to the local shelves being restocked with the black Grouse. Am worried though that that too will fade from the glory days!
Oh dearie me! Out here in the South Pacific it looks as though there is plenty old stock classic Highland cream. malty smooth and punching well above its weight as a quality whisky. Aaàaaah the dreaded new blend aviation fuel!! poor Devils.
Having drunk highland cream for more than 50 years I am dismayed by the taste of the new label version.Bells reluctantly got a new customer.
I poured the entire glass away, washed my sniffer, rinsed my mouth and poured myself a glass of Glenfiddich 18.
