Description

From the enjoyably extensive A. D. Rattray Cask Collection range comes an 8 year old Tamnavulin single malt, distilled in February 2009 and aged in a bourbon barrel until November 2017. A single cask bottling, resulting in 255 bottles.

Nose

Fresh Alpine herbs, fresh ginger, violet.

Palate

Huge helpings of honey and malt, with underlying pastry hints.

Finish

A dry spiciness, with hints of leafy basil.
