    Single Malt

    Tamdhu 21 Year Old 1989 (cask 4127) - Mackillop's Choice

This is a Tamdhu distilled in 1989 and bottled by Mackillop's Choice in 2010. Tamdhu produces malt for the Famous Grouse blend however it is a great single malt in its own right!

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

    Nose

The nose is densely tropical with notes of yellow fruit and a good helping of vanilla.

    Palate

The palate is more honeyed with notes of golden syrup and fudge but with fruity top notes.

    Finish

The finish is reasonably long with notes of pineapple chunks and wandering wood-spice.

    Overall

This is a great single malt that maintains a youthfulness in spite of its age and is a great chance to try a crucial part of a major blend.
