This 2000 Tamdhu is a well-sherried independently bottled single malt by Malts of Scotland. It was matured in a sherry hogshead before being bottled in 2018, and released in celebration of Christmas 2018. 343 bottles were produced.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Fresh fruit sweetness, mild sherry notes, dried fruits, notably apricots and figs, butterscotch.
Palate
Creamy, more dried fruit with sweet notes of caramel and honey.
Finish
Medium length, warming, honeyed fruit and oak notes.
