Talisker Triple Matured Edition - Friends of the Classic Malts
A Diageo Friends of the Classic Malts bottling of 12-year-old Talisker single malt, which has been triple matured – it was initially aged in refill casks, then moved over to charred American oak hogsheads before finally maturing in European oak refill casks.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Chilli-chocolate, honey'd malt, a good waft of sea breeze and green peppercorn.
Palate
More spicy pepper and herbs up front, with smouldering peat developing. Creamy mouth-feel, with notes of Toffee Crisp bars and sea salt.
Finish
Lingering warmth and a sweet nuttiness right at the end.
