The Talisker Distillers Edition bottlings are marvellous indeed. Delicious single malt from Skye, finished in Amaroso sherry casks? Yes please! This particular release was distilled back in 2011 and eventually bottled up in 2021 at 45.8% ABV. Expect smoky, coastal wafts with the soft sweetness of chocolate and dried fruit.
BBQ charred pineapple, salted peanuts, sea shells, mint chocolate.
Dates and honeycomb, with underlying salinity and creamy malt.
Rum-soaked raisins, smoky oak, cinnamon.

A REALLY DELIGHTFUL AND DELICIOUS VERSION OF A GREAT WHISKY
Absolutely love this dram! Beautifully smooth yet full of character. Just perfect amount of peatiness and delivers quite a kick. I will get a couple more bottles before the price goes up!

Over the years Talisker Distiller's editions have been my priority choice, if I want the seaweedy loveliness that Talisker provides. I have been attached to the distillery since the days I used to climb in the Cuillin, and then come down to rest, and drink, and sing. This version does not disappoint.
Delicious! One of my favourites. Pricier than the standard Talisker but an ideal peat and sherry combo that hits the spot every time.
