An exciting release here from Swedish independent bottlers Svenska Eldvatten - a single cask from one of the heavily peated Kildalton distilleries (i.e. it's either from Ardbeg, Lagavulin or Laphroaig)! Distilled in October 2007, the outturn was 204 bottles in January 2016.
Smoke and toffee apples on the nose, with just a hint of sticking plaster.
Cinnamon, dried apricot, toffee, salt caramels, smouldering peat and mixed peels.
Smoky and slightly buttered.
