Single Malt
Scotland

A well-aged single malt from the Strathisla distillery, matured in first and refill sherry casks for 30 years before bottling by Gordon and MacPhail.
The nose is quite rich and waxy. Notes of pollen and beeswax, hints of smoked ham and wood shavings with notes of blossom and petals. The palate is full and rich. Herbal notes and a touch of tarry ropes. There is an oaken bitterness with chewy tannins, notes of acacia honey and a thick mouth feel. The finish is long with a little bitterness on the tail.

Chewy with a large doze of rum and raisins!
My absolute favorite-Absolutely FANTASTIC together with some dark choklad !
A smasher! Talk about great wood selection. This is how to age whisky for 30 years.
