Nose: Breakfast whiskey this, blueberry pancakes with hot butter and maple syrup! Cola cubes too, rye, green banana and salted plantain tortilla chips.
Palate: Oops, I've spilt a whole mess of maple syrup all over my breakfast now (ha, they'll never know I did it on purpose!) as well as chilli and freshly sliced ripe banana. Dee-licious!
Finish: Rye spice just keeps on lingering.
Overall: This is our kind of bourbon, I can tell you! Never becoming too sweet, it strikes the perfect balance between sweet, spicy and savoury. Top stuff!
