Springbank 28 Year Old 1974 (cask 1161) - Cheiftain's (Ian Macleod)

This right here is an old indie bottling of well-matured Campbeltown single malt Scotch whisky from the revered Springbank Distillery, released as part of the Cheiftain's bottling range by Ian Macleod. It was distilled in July 1974 and aged in a single butt cask for 28 years, until it was eventually bottled up in March 2003, with an outturn of only 444 bottles.

This bottle was part of a private collection - if you'd like more detailed photos just get in touch!

Please Note: The presentation box has damage to the inside and outside, but the whisky within the bottle remains safe and sound.
