A massively impressive 21 year old single malt from Campbeltown's very own Springbank distillery, independently bottled by That Boutique-y Whisky Company. Just look at the rich, ruby hue of it!! Neil and Joel from World's Best Spirits (previously of Caskstrength.net) are hard at work on the label, working the distillery's famous old Porteus Mill.
Batch 3 is a release of 415 bottles.
‘That Boutique-y Whisky Company’ bottles single malts, single grains and bourbons from a variety of renowned distilleries as well as producing award-winning blended malts and blends. These whiskies are adorned with cultish graphic novel-style labels.
Reduced summer fruits and classic oily peat have come together wonderfully during this long maturation, with some fresh orchard fruit adding some zip.
Deep, fruity, oily, smoky. It's everything you'd hope for from a Port matured Springbank of this hue!
Much smokier now, almost sooty, with lingering fruity sweetness.

An outstanding Springbank that has some unique rich character similar to the 1990's springbanks. Def worth the money.
It's so obviously first-fill port. Massive red-fruit influence - hugely rich and massively expressive.
I wish they would give more information about the liquid inside instead of the label ( honestly... who cares about the label?). Is it first fill port? Second fill? Is it all port cask matured? Or a dual cask mature?
£182 for 50cl. So that's the same as £273 for a standard bottle.
