Description
The 2026 release of Springbank 21 Year Old was matured in four types of cask, a marriage of 63% Port, 25% bourbon, 6% rum, and 5% sherry. The Campbeltown single malt was bottled at 46% ABV
Tasting Note by The Producer
Nose
Medjool dates and sticky toffee pudding notes initially, followed by rich treacle, stewed plums and a burst of blood orange zest. Delicate peat smoke lingers in the background.
Palate
The peat smoke continues on the palate, along with notes of smoked figs, caramelised brown sugar, cigar box, blackberries and Iberico ham.
Finish
There are notes of banana bread, cinnamon spice and a savoury, earthy note closing off this dram.
