Independently bottled Springbank single malt, released by Cask 88 for its Scottish Folklore Series. Distilled in March 2000, the whisky matured for 21 years in a single bourbon hogshead. The label features an interpretation of the boobrie, a mythological shape-shifting creature, rumoured to dwell in the deep lochs of the mull of Kintyre.
