Campbeltown does its best impression of Islay
I'm sipping a glass of this right now. The dominant flavour on the nose and the tongue is peat, but not overwhelmingly so. It's a different kind of peat. Not TCP or iodine like Laphroaig. It's lighter, some might say immature. There is a seaspray note. Also a fruit note, something a bit sour. rhubarb in the tasting notes is a fair description. I also feel good drinking something from Springbank that is made the right way: 46% ABV, non-chill filtered, no artificial colouring. I'm very happy I bought this bottle. The hardest thing will be making it last.

It's all about the Scotch, Carl Faulkner
It's young, has a pretty good finish, nice peat, and a small bite. I'm comparing it to my all time favorite, Lagavulin 16, and I'm wondering what their higher-end scotches are like.

Tasting notes are spot on. Great whisky, smooth and very drinkable neat. Best dram you never heard of!

Great Dram
I got this as a christams present from my dad after he went up to Scotland recently. We both love whisky and try to get each other something a bit different every year. I have seen and heard of Longrow before but have never ventured out to trying it and I wish I had sooner. It is a fantastic dram and the guy above me has described it spot on. I love the fruity, spicy, coastal and peatyness of this dram and would definitely recommend it to anyone. I will certainly be tasting as few more Campbeltown whisky's very soon.

Hugely underestimated!
Very disregarded by Islay-philes, this dram, after all, shares some DNA with the legendary Longrow CV. I have this bottle and now, with some air, it is just delightful. The notes from M.o.M are very accurate, the leather note is prominent on the nose with kippers, algae, natural caramel toffee. That rhubarb/green grape note makes the palate very tangy and juicy, alongside the punchy peat and smoke combo. Great offering!
