Green Spot is a fabulous single pot still whiskey and much loved by the critics. This Irish whiskey has come far from the days when it was only sold in Mitchell's grocer shop in the heart of Dublin, though its flavour profile is still just as robust. The whiskey has matured in a combination of first and second fill bourbon casks as well as sherry casks.
Hints of peppermint, malt, sweet barley, sugary porridge, creamy vanilla, papaya and citrus.
Spicy and soft, gentle bourbon oak, green woods, menthol, potpourri.
Creamy, long finish, vanilla.

Wonderful mellow Irish whiskey to drink neat with just less teaspoon of water but I must admit both spot whiskey's are true perfection I like them both.
Recommended by a barman when i wanted something a bit different than the regular bottles you get hanging from optics. Its powerful, quite spicy and strong, but with fruity aspects. A drop of water really seperates and brings out the flavours. Lots of vanilla and a little fruity tang in there aswell. Beautiful straight, better with literally "a drop" of water at room temperature. Highly recommended
I was in my local Irish bar a few months back and they were out of my standard Kilbeggan, The bartender recommended this and it is my new standard. The first thing that jumped out at me was how smooth this whiskey is. the mouth feel and finish are better than whiskeys costing mush more.
Vanilla is strong and sugary. This is whiskey for summer evenings i recomented this for everyone
I tend towards more peaty whiskies, but this was a wonderful experience. Halfway through the first glass I felt like I was in a Five Star Bed and Breakfast. Fantastic whiskey.
