Green Spot is a fabulous single pot still whiskey and much loved by the critics. This Irish whiskey has come far from the days when it was only sold in Mitchell's grocer shop in the heart of Dublin, though its flavour profile is still just as robust. The whiskey has matured in a combination of first and second fill bourbon casks as well as sherry casks.
Hints of peppermint, malt, sweet barley, sugary porridge, creamy vanilla, papaya and citrus.
Spicy and soft, gentle bourbon oak, green woods, menthol, potpourri.
Creamy, long finish, vanilla.

I was on vacation in Ireland and introduced to Green Spot by a waiter in Belfast when I had started to order another Irish Whiskey. I’m glad I took his advice, as it was simply excellent. This is my favorite Irish Whiskey, and have given it as a gift in the past also. Enjoy.
For the price, you certainly can't go wrong. The whisky is smooth and has a very nice flavour. It has left me keen to try other offerings from this distiller.
Very nice Single Pot Still Irish Whiskey. Smooth on the palate and I get the essence of "pear drops" across the tongue at the finish and when breathing out through the nose.
